Math Placement Testing

The math placement tests are on the online platform Lumen OHM. Most students benefit from a math refresher by way of the practice tests in Lumen, especially if it has been some years since you took the related math courses. Please complete the Lumen online practice to help ensure the placement test results reflect your best math ability.

English Placement Survey

The English placement is an online survey designed to assess your past experiences in reading and writing and your academic habits. This survey can be completed from home. Please login to MyCorning and use your SUNY CCC email address while completing the English self-guided placement.

Accommodations

In cooperation with the Accessibility Services department, the Testing Center is able to offer accommodations to students who have approval. If you require accommodations for testing, you will need to meet with or contact the Accessibility Services Coordinator prior to scheduling a test appointment. The Coordinator will schedule your placement test after completion of the intake process.
